Katie is a Colorado Springs-based artist/graphic designer who loves to kick it with the local businesses. She received her bachelor’s degree in Art from Auburn University in 2011 and transitioned into a design career soon after. Katie currently spends her days as Branding Graphic Designer for the Sticker Giant Marketing Team, and at night, you can find her locked away in her studio working on freelance projects or out on the town transforming someone’s wall with a new mural. You will find influences of Nature, hand-lettering, and organic elements in much of her work. Her current favorite artist is Mick Shimonek, an abstract landscape oil painter based out of Nebraska whose work is sold throughout Colorado and the rest of the country. Katie finally purchased her first piece of cherished, original art from Mick in 2021.
When she isn’t art-ing or designing, you may find Katie mountain biking, hiking, overlanding in the backcountry, or singing folk songs around town. As a self-proclaimed Jack(ie)-of-All-Trades and Lover-of-Variety, you will often hear about Katie trying something new and packing her plate full of anything creative she can get her hands on.
